Published purpose

This project will disrupt transnational organized criminal groups involved in wildlife and forest crime through strengthened cooperation among Southeast Asian countries. Project beneficiaries will include criminal justice actors and law enforcement agencies. Project activities include: (1) enhancing regional and inter-regional information sharing networks; (2) prioritizing wildlife and forest crime on stakeholders’ agendas, and; (3) improving the data and evidence base of crime convergence with money laundering, corruption, drug and human trafficking. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime implements this project.
