Published purpose
The project will develop the core technology for a simplified metal 3D printing process. This method follows methods already demonstrated by other companies, but removes their shortcomings. The two largest shortcomings of current technology for low cost 3D metal printing are the large material waste used in the support structure and the need for a de-binding machine.
