Community Electric Ltd. (CEL) Is an industrial electrical contractor with a controls and automation division (Comco Controls), an engineering division and a fabrication division. Although these divisions work together on projects, there is no available technology to allow for project management between divisions. This allows for inefficient management of projects, parts and inventory as well as historical data management. The current process generated significant paper use. This project is meant to develop the web-based technology able to manage a project between divisions including all inventory changes for each, historical database access, completed project reporting all without a paper exchange or manual filing.
