ThinkRF will undertake the development of an embedded digital signal processing (DSP) engine for its broadband signal analyzer product line. The DSP engine will be able to accept digitized samples of radio frequency (RF) and use DSP algorithms to correct signal distortion, eliminate phase and frequency errors and compensate for other offsets in the RF signal chain. The post-processed RF signal samples will then be more readily analyzed or converted to a data stream in the end-use application. The embedded DSP engine will also enable the cloudification of ThinkRF's technology enabling the provision of high-value measurement and analysis features for its products that can be licensed as permanently or "as-required" through the cloud.
