Published purpose
SATL intends to build a 160MW CAES facility near Lloydminster. The facility will be designed to enhance the economic viability of renewable energy generation and to ensure the stability of the transmission grid system in light of the growth on intermittent renewable energy as a percentage of total energy generation in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
