Published purpose

Wastenot Farms is a start-up company that diverts food waste from landfill on behalf of Toronto businesses and uses that organic waste to feed worms. The worm manure is harvested, bagged and wholesaled to garden centres as a valuable all-natural soil amendment called Jocelyn’s Soil Booster worm manure. The company has hired a 5 month intern position to increase sales by securing new retailers, develop additional markets for this product, and to research, test and develop product quality in order to increase sales. By having this employee, Wastenot Farms seeks to develop long-term relationship with new retailers, access new sales markets, and develop a higher quality product that will result in improved capacity and sales.
