Published purpose
SSCL is developing and advance Maritime Domain Awareness System that uses commercial, unclassified space-based sensors and advanced data analytics to track commercial ship. Primary applications include monitoring for illegal bilge dumping, natural and accidental oil slicks, identification of hazards to navigation, illegal fishing and security and defence applications.
