Published purpose
The fire engineering process is currently repetitive, inefficient, and partially outsourced, with various elements of the design using different software packages and generating independent models. This project aims to integrate two fire engineering programs using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, namely Revit, as the main hub to utilize structural and architectural information already captured on a project to generate fire engineering models. By automating this task with a piece of software to intelligently create models, our performance-based fire engineering service will be able to provide our clients with more design options, more innovation solutions, and overall safer and more efficient buildings.
