Published purpose
The development of a Smart Battery Energy Management (SBEM) system with real-time fault diagnosis capabilities for applications in electric vehicles and other energy storage devices. The design structure of the SBEM system will incorporate robust communications, intelligent cell monitoring, device management, device (bidirectional) charging to ensure control and management of battery performance, safety, the state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH).
