Swidget Corp

Published purpose

As a continuation to the Swidget project under CALM Technologies, Swidget Corp. was created to take the IP developed under CALM and to commercialize the technology for mass-market sales in the Electrical Device and Smart Home markets. Building on the IRAP-sponsored I2C seminar and subsequent marketing studies, the company identified a significant opportunity for a suite of products for which it had developed IP in a rapidly expanding market. There now exists an immediate need to hire additional human resources to help solve the operational challenges faced in commercializing the Swidget portfolio of products. This includes the transition from small manufacturing runs, to large, scalable production both domestically and off-shore.
