Published purpose
The UrineChip is a sample-to-answer urinary tract infection (UTI) diagnostic tool that provides results at the point-of-care. UTIs are one of the most common bacterial infections in companion animals and can result in permanent kidney damage if untreated. There is a strong need for a fast and specific test for UTIs in veterinarians’ offices.
