Published purpose
This project aims at creating a plant tissue culture lab at Upper Canada Growers Inc. and a model for commercial scale in vitro production of apple rootstocks. Establishment of this facility will equip the Upper Canada Growers to meet their current and future demand of apple rootstocks, which is in excess of 1 million plants annually.
