Published purpose

Currently, technologies do not exist which can properly polish the organic fraction of municipal solid waste such that they are clean and free of plastic, glass and grit. This project will develop an integrated solution capable of removing contaminants from the organic fraction of solid waste before anaerobic digestion for the recovery of renewable energy.
