Published purpose

The proposed project is to develop an instant precise positioning software for mobile devices applications, which focuses on the development and implementation of new methods and algorithms to process carrier phase measurements from next generation mobile devices to enable: (1) multi-constellation and multi-frequency GNSS positioning performance at decimeter to sub-meter accuracy; (2) integrated GNSS and multi-sensor fusion for continuous precise positioning in challenging environments; (3) software library to run on mobile devices. The software system development is a response to strong industry demand as PPI has been approached by major smartphone makers to help develop precise location capability for their mobile devices.
