Published purpose

Gastops is a global leader in real-time, on-line oil debris monitoring (ODM) technologies, used for early detection and quantification of bearing and gear damage in critical turbines across wind, aerospace, and energy sectors. Sensors are traditionally installed through-flow between oil lubrication lines to be monitored, in order to maximize particle detection capabilities within challenging operating conditions. Newly-emerging turbine markets demand sensors to accommodate larger pipe diameters along with reduced sensor cost and weight. Full-flow sensors cannot meet these challenging needs. This project will focus on research and prototyping of a novel, low-cost, partial flow ODM sensor.
