Published purpose
The project will involve the enhancement of the Virtual Reality based Endoscopy Simulation system to provide extra features enabling a richer and more in depth training environment. The improved system will have enhanced fidelity of the deformation and force feedback algorithms used on the 3-dimensional organ models, as well as developing new 3-dimensional models for biopsy tools.
