Published purpose
The Pressurized Gas eXpanded (PGX) Technology is a patented platform technology for the generation of fine-structured, open-porous, water-soluble biopolymer carriers for tailor-made bioactive or drug delivery systems. Ceapro will further develop the patented PGX Technology by upgrading the PGX Demonstration Plant and by scaling up the Ceapro impregnation technology to the demonstration scale to generate novel “impregnated Polymer compleX” (iPX) for use as delivery systems. By conducting studies on the iPX generated and modeling processing and equipment costs, Ceapro will continue to progressively deploy the PGX Technology to generate innovative products into the functional food, cosmetic and drug delivery markets.
