Published purpose

Seismometers, geophones and vibration sensors are used in earthquake monitoring, resource industry and research areas. There is a current need for affordable seismometers and vibration monitoring systems that can detect broader range of frequency, with flexible installation, flexible output format, easy data transfer, and real- time monitoring capability. However, this can not be achieved by slight modifications to any existing products currently in the market. The objective of this project is to develop new advanced digital seismometers and very broadband vibration monitoring systems, using Symroc’s revolutionary new technology to fundamentally overcome the detection limitations, and tackling the key challenges to the industry.
