Published purpose

This project deals with the design and lightweight metal-skinned composites for use in transportation and construction applications. The lightweight composites are manufactured in Canada, by our company Westhill Innovation Inc. Our product utilizes novel materials in the mix that would otherwise be deemed for landfill. The materials of use would be those that are currently not recycled for other purposes. The economics of processing of the sheeted materials is estimated to be much less cost than purchasing other pre-made sheeted materials which use virgin compounds. The technology developed to process these materials would be considered disruptive and in addition create technological barriers for competitors.
