Published purpose

CF800 is a multimodal imaging agent intended for pre-operative computed tomography (CT) and intraoperative near infrared (NIR) fluorescence image-guided surgical applications. To this point, CF800’s ability to be used for image-guided surgical interventions has been demonstrated in numerous pre-clinical animal models. Based on this positive pre-clinical data, renowned surgical oncologists have expressed an interest in utilizing CF800 for image-guided surgery in cancer patients. To confirm a successful scale up and optimize the technology, we must characterize the formulation (in terms of composition, size, stability, and performance) in order to finalize product specifications for our planned Phase 1 clinical trial.
