Published purpose
Trexo Robotics is building wearable robotic solutions to help children with disabilities learn to walk. Having built their first unit for the clinical market, they are continuing development to target the unmet need of the home-use rehabilitation + mobility for children. Trexo currently has a design suitable for clinic use but not home use. The purpose of the project is to create a wearable robotic device by converting any passive walker into a fully powered robotic device that is mobile, easy to put together and stable so that it can deliver reliable gait training in a convenient home environment.
