Published purpose

It leverages D-TA’s capability in ultra-wideband RF spectrum acquisition and real-time record/playback. It will also enhance the RF bandwidth capability and introduce a recorder centric pulse processing concept using multi-threaded software. The signal analysis is done using software processing threads while recording is ongoing. The advantage is that all data samples can be examined, raising the probability of intercept and deeper analysis as data is always available, for better estimation of radar signal parameters. The innovation also addresses the ‘big data’ problem associated with large ELINT data collection by introducing a query-based search. The end product will deliver a value proposition by cutting time, cost and deployment risk.
