Published purpose

The Firm has developed a Ducted Fan Unmanned Aerial System with a docking station for fully autonomous operations. To ensure reliable operations the system will need to be tested in persistent operations in different conditions. This includes persistent conduction of cycles of UAV deployment, hovering, recovery and replenishment in those conditions. To identify issues and improve the system fast, the test will be conducted at first indoors and to a later state outdoors. This allows to distinguish between environmental influences and allows faster progress. To be able to use the UAS for a wider range of application AS Works will add the capability to transition from hover flight into horizontal flight and back to the UAV.
