Published purpose
The goal of the project is to develop key technology for large electric multi-rotor VTOL aircraft. The aircraft will use four or eight motors in a standard quad-copter or octo-copter configuration and initially be limited to flying within ground-effect altitudes or under 400 feet AGL.
