Published purpose
The SkyWatch EarthCache platform aggregates the world’s satellite data and makes it available to everyone in a simple API. Each day, 70% of the earth is covered in clouds, rendering optical satellite imagery less usable. This project leverages machine learning to address the problem of cloud cover and the shadows cast by clouds.
