Published purpose
CSI is developing a failure prediction and prevention platform for 3-phase electric machines (motors/generators). The non-intrusive condition monitoring part of this technology can identify existing and developing faults on electric machines and their prime movers. This technology uses the electric machine itself as a sophisticated transducer. As a result, it does not require any sensor installations on the machine or associated load. It is attractive for inaccessible applications and is applicable to most types of pumps, compressors, generators, wind turbines and similar loads.
