Published purpose

The project aims to support and increase the cyber security posture of innovative Canadian SMEs of all sector of activities that requires diligence in their day-to-day activities as well as when developing, integrating or maintaining a new product or solution. As innovation requires creativity and latitude in the technology choices as well as infrastructure support, often, cyber security is the last piece that gets in place. While “Best practices” recognize that designing and security at the beginning of a project reduces the costs and creates a better integrated solution as well as limits the attack surface, the security expert is often called at the last minute. Unfortunately, access to cyber security expert is more and more difficult and the lack of resources causes delay and may put a project in peril.
