Published purpose
This project proposes to study the economic and technical feasibility of a subsea iceberg protection structure (SIPS) as an alternative. Detailed work will be carried out with regards to the overall arrangement and design of the structure and subsea production system, foundation design, ice loading, installation methodologies, and model testing for concept verification.
