Published purpose

We have successfully developed a working prototype (V0.1) of a desktop-based remote multiparameter physiological monitor that acquires and analyzes vital signs data like ECG, pulse, blood pressure (BP), SpO2, and respiration. For rapid prototyping and testing, this system has been developed using National Instruments (NI) hardware and LabVIEW software. We want to undertake the current IRAP project to embark on the critical task of converting our prototype V0.1 into a fully-functional commercial-grade embedded clinical device (V1.0) that will comprise a microcontroller chip interfaced with our proprietary biosensors, a touchscreen display, and embedded C running on the microcontroller for data acquisition/control/analysis.
