Published purpose

The Total Exploration & Production Alternative Subsurface Data (TEP ASD) is a newly constructed logging calibration facility located in Artigueloutan, in the south-west of France. The calibration center provides 29 standards in 18 silos consisting of rocks, fluids, sand pack, aluminum and composite. The TEP ASD is a opportunity to acquire data in a highly controlled environment using Roke Technologies' proprietary Quad Neutron Technology. The data acquired will serve multiple functions: provide calibration and correction charts for the technology, increase our understanding of the physics of the measurement, improve our Monte Carlo models of the tool, and provide an opportunity for future business with Total Energy and their partners.
