Published purpose

Performance requirements on electronics are constantly growing, especially with advances in the Internet of Things and 5G. To satisfy the required metrics, reduce time-to-market and prototyping costs, and ensure safety compliance, a comprehensive electromagnetic simulation platform is required. Electromagnetic modelling can be divided into the following major stages: 1) discretized simulation model generation from CAD files 2) computational physics simulation of the model 3) design optimization for the user-defined goals. This project focuses on the first stage for generation of the optimized simulation model from user-supplied CAD files. The model quality is essential for subsequent simulation accuracy, speed and optimization potential.
