Published purpose
The HELIX 25 robot is a semi-autonomous amphibious robot for environmental monitoring. The current application is monitoring tailings ponds from the mining industry. The proposed project will develop a smart water/tailings sampler for the HELIX family of robots improving the efficiency of operations for the client user.
