This project aims to create industry knowledge that will reduce costs and increase competitiveness of Canadian producers and processors in the horticultural sector by providing: 1) sourcing and evaluation of automation components and systems as a precursor to implementation 2) assessment and design of processes and practices to ensure maximum value is derived from manual and automated labour.
