Published purpose

In order to expand the product offering within the Swidget Smart Home platform, a robust app is required. Currently, the Swidget app, which had been developed by a third-party consulting firm, does not allow for insert modules that require advanced communication, such as temperature and humidity readings, motion sensing, video streaming, as well as many other applications. The current app is built on a cross-platform implementation, which works for limited functional interaction with our hardware, but is not appropriate for higher level interactions. Our project is focused on building the app in both native iOS and native Android programs, that will allow uncompromised functionality for our current and future modular inserts.
