Published purpose

This is essentially extension of a previously approved/ completed project. Roaster Kill Step Validation: There is shortage of Peanut supply in the market due to higher aflatoxin count in 2019 crop. To be competitive, the firm wants to be open to purchase ‘Splits’ (split peanuts) to make up for the shortfall. To roast ‘Splits’ they need to operate roasters to avoid over roasting/burning and still show a log 5 kill step capability. The firm invested in new equipment to improve product shelf life to compete in the export market. The improvement in shelf life needs to be validated by a third party.
