Published purpose
The project goal is to develop a new ‘smart’ air-core reactor, which is a key component of the power grid. The project will develop a process for installing Hyperion’s tFITs fiber optic distributed sensing system, which will allow the comprehensive monitoring of the entire reactor for the first time, making them intelligent as part of a smart grid.
