Published purpose
The second biological window (NIR II) is a region of the optical spectrum where biological tissue transparency is optimal. With the advent of new instruments for this region, like our preclinical imager IR VIVO, the research community is racing to develop new probes and contrast agents. The current project will allow the development of a new automated infrared multiwell reader, including new laser sources, optics and spectrometer.
