Published purpose

PanGeo Subsea is seeking to design and develop an innovative adaptation of a Bottom Crawler Remote Operated Vehicle (CROV) with fully integrated 3D Sub-Bottom Imaging (SBI), and Resistivity Scanning (RS) to deliver a full seabed soil property solution. The product will be a unique fusion of volumetric acoustic and electrical responses to deliver unprecedented geotechnical soil information, exhibited in a continuous manner. The outcome of the project is expected to be of high value to the Offshore Oil and Gas, Offshore Renewable Energy, Power, Defence and Marine Archaeology industries. The proposed innovation and new technology to be developed and trialed will be fully owned by PanGeo and will be called GeoTRAC.
