UK Eureka Network E!13280 Orthotic Micro Lab with foreign project partner FootHealth UK Ltd. to create an in-clinic additive manufacturing solution for podiatrists, pedorthists, chiropractors to fabrication custom foot orthotics, which includes the hardware/software for 3D scanning, digital orthotic model generation & in-clinic 3D printing to reduce the turnaround time from 14 days to 5 hours with 30% of the current cost and 90% less wastes of the current manufacturing method.
