Published purpose
Traditional engine test cells have long expensive augmenter tubes requiring large facility footprints. VGE is developing a new concept and design to significantly decrease the tube length, reducing cost of new installations and existing cell retrofits for new and larger engines. This project is to validate the design through scale model test .
