Published purpose

The project requires the design and production of mechanical, electrical and software systems to introduce 5 axis milling products, which include an advanced control system and software. The developed 5 axis machines would become a new product line of machines purpose-built for 5-axis cutting operations. By way of background, CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) machines involve taking digitized data, a computer and CAM program is used to control, automate, and monitor the movements of a machine. Our CNC router machines are 3 axis and cut with a physical tool a wide range of materials including wood, plastics, metals, foam, and other materials. 5 axis adds the ability to tilt and rotate the router tool to a greater extent.
