Published purpose

Cheelcare proposes an innovative solution for the disinfection of public spaces including retirement facilities, public transport, and retail spaces. The solution is an autonomous mobility platform utilizing the safety and collision avoidance system developed by Cheelcare with the support of NRC-IRAP. UV-C irradiation emitter will be mounted on to it. The platform will be modified to eliminate shaded areas and increase the efficiency of the system. Combining UV-C techniques with an autonomous mobility platform with a high power source will provide a cost-effective solution for the rapid disinfection of public areas and may enable large scale protocols for prevention and containment of outbreaks.
