Published purpose
The project is to develop a Lateral Flow Immuno-Assay (LFIA) based COVID-19 IgM/IgG test to detect SARS-CoV-2 IgM and IgG antibody in the blood samples with overall sensitivity>94%, specificity>97%. This device is designed for both professional and/or home-use by serum,plasma as well as fingertip blood sample test. This diagnostic solution will integrate with a mobile application, QR code and cloud network. The innovation will allow for real-time monitoring of COVID-19 spread by transmitting timely data to the public health networks; hence, achieving a low-cost and high-efficiency solution for the the relevant Public Health Agency for effective collection of test data.
