Published purpose

The proposed Innovative Engineering and Technical Services for SMEs Project will assist up to 30 individual companies undertake up to 60 projects. These clients are from a variety of sectors, predominantly focused around manufacturing, mining, mining support or transportation. Each project will assist a company in design and/or prototyping of a new innovative product or process that leads to economic development in our region. With every new innovation being considered, there is considerable time, expense and risk in the design and implementation of the innovation. Of course, the potential rewards in terms of employment creation and economic benefit are also substantial. Projects undertaken will be executed by leveraging one or more of the following technologies available at ICAMP: • Additive Manufacturing: 3D printing in a variety of metals and plastics using EOS and Stratasys equipment • Precision 3D Scanning: Using high resolution scanning equipment from Creaform • Design and Sim
