Published purpose
As video streaming services dramatically scale up subscribers, there is increased pressure to manage bandwidth, while ensuring viewer quality is maintained. SSIMWAVE is in a unique position to help streaming service providers balance quality and cost, as the SSIMPLUS QoE (Quality of Experience) metric is the most accurate objective quality metric available. This project will develop a software solution that optimizes the quality/cost goals and constraints for our customers, to enable them to scale in an efficient manner.
