Published purpose
Fiberglass windows address the market demand for increased sight lines because the strength of fiberglass allows for thinner frames. Fiberglass windows have an impact on the environment, when compared to the more popular vinyl windows as fiberglass windows have a 38% increased lifespan, which means less used windows in the landfill. They also use recycled materials and provide approximately a 15% higher R-value. One of the significant aspects of this project is to become an alternative to the Aluminum windows that dominate the commercial landscape. Durabuilt is facing low cost pressures, from window companies out of Asia Fiberglass provides the strength, thermal values and clean looks that are called upon for most commercial applications.
