Published purpose

Unico Power delivers energy management solutions that are based on internally developed hardware and software. These energy management systems can interface and control various energy supplies and loads in a facility. Our first commercial feature is the management of electric vehicle charging in multi-family residential buildings. This project involves implementing hardware and firmware changes to incorporate the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) into our solution. OCPP is an industry-standard for Electric Vehicle Energy Management Systems and is key to our continued success in this space. The specific project work involved developing a simulated OCCP server in our charging device using an ESP32 microprocessor and new code.
