Published purpose
Assessment of new filtration technology, which brings high perspective for various treatment processes. This filtration technology can be used in multiple water and wastewater treatment applications. It brings benefits of very low space requirements, long-term filtration (5 years) with no consumables, and minimal water requirements for filter backwash. Assessment of specially coated pipes for potential of minimizing or elimination of the biofilm formation in various raw water supply systems, potable water distributions systems and treated effluent discharge systems. It may bring substantial benefits for water infrastructure.
