Published purpose
This IRAP program will enable Tallysman Wireless to develop the technology for a GNSS multiband Low Elevation Angle Nulling Antenna (LEANA) that will null low elevation angle (ground-based) intentional and accidental GNSS jamming and interfering signals. Tallysman’s ambition is LEANA technology to protect triple band, multi-constellation GNSS signals (GPS L1/L2/L5, Galileo E1/E5a/E5b, GLONASS G1/G2/G3 and BeiDou B1/B2/B2a) with a radiation pattern that nulls signals incident at elevation angle below 15 degrees. Since most interference and civilian jamming signals are ground-based, this method will harden the antenna to low elevation signals and significantly improve GNSS signal availability.
