Published purpose

The project will leverage the previous test work results achieved by KPM to perform all the required lab testing and techno-economic process analyses to reach an advanced and optimized proprietary process technology. The project includes closing the processing loop by integrating the addition of Fe, Ni and Silica by-production, diversifying the Mg compounds production, increasing the recoveries, and improving the CAPEX/OPEX and the energy and environmental key performance indicators (KPI’s). The final process technology outcomes, which are expected to be delivered from the proposed testing and studies will serve as a base for the feasibility study of a Semi Commercial Demonstration Plant.
